The Computer Networks and Internetworking module provides a comprehensive understanding of the protocols and standards essential for managing modern communication infrastructures. Students gain practical skills for monitoring and evaluating networks, which are critical for network managers and engineers. Similarly, the Enterprise Network Troubleshooting module focuses on troubleshooting complex enterprise networks, providing students with hands-on experience and the ability to communicate advanced network concepts to both experts and non-experts. Network Management equips students with the knowledge of management protocols and tools used to operate, monitor, and assess computer networks, ensuring they can manage networks effectively in both current and future infrastructures.The Network Security and Mechanisms module explores the principles and techniques used to secure computer networks, covering security risks, breaches, and the tools needed to protect systems. The Operating Systems for Networked Environments module examines the design and implementation of networked operating systems, focusing on key concepts like memory management, inter-process communication, and networking technologies. Through lab work on Linux and Windows 10, students gain practical experience in managing networked environments.The Virtualisation and Cloud Computing module delves into virtualisation, cloud platforms, and distributed storage systems, providing students with the skills to design and implement scalable applications in cloud environments. Finally, the Individual PG Project allows students to independently plan and conduct applied research, integrating their learning from all modules.
