COURSE CURRICULUM

The Clinical Electrophysiology module (15 credits) provides students with essential knowledge in electrophysiology, enabling them to safely contribute to the treatment and diagnosis of cardiac arrhythmias. The Cardiac Rhythm Management module (15 credits) focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm abnormalities, equipping students with the necessary expertise to manage these conditions. The Cardiac Ultrasound module (30 credits) offers in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of ultrasound and echocardiography, essential for current clinical practice in cardiology. The Research Project (60 credits) allows students to plan and execute a laboratory-based study, critically evaluate research findings, and develop effective communication skills for presenting their results. The Leadership and Management module (15 credits) teaches current leadership theories and management strategies, preparing students to drive positive change within teams or organizations. Bioethics (15 credits) explores ethical and legal issues in professional practice, particularly related to human and animal research, reproductive technology, and genetic advancements. The Experimental Design and Statistics module (15 credits) equips students with the tools to design experiments and analyze data, facilitating the testing of scientific hypotheses. Finally, the Cardiac Imaging and Diagnostics module (15 credits) provides students with specialized knowledge in cardiology diagnostics, including advanced imaging techniques like cardiac MRI, enhancing their ability to interpret diagnostic data and understand methods for diagnosing cardiac disease.
