COURSE CURRICULUM

The modules within the International Business Management program are designed to equip students with a deep understanding of international business operations and strategies. The International Business Strategy module focuses on developing students' ability to analyze and implement strategies that enhance international competitiveness. Students will gain insights into theoretical frameworks for international business and develop skills in critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving in complex international contexts. The Trade and the Multinational Enterprise module provides a foundation in economic theories related to multinational enterprises, trade, foreign direct investment, and globalization, preparing students to evaluate and analyze key policy issues in these areas. The International Business Management Project allows students to apply the knowledge gained throughout the program to a real-world business issue, enhancing their ability to manage projects, conduct research, and navigate business challenges. The Management in a Globalized Context module critically examines the impact of national culture on corporate culture and leadership, helping students understand the ethical challenges of managing in a globalized world. The Managing the Multinational Organisation module focuses on HRM within multinational corporations, helping students understand the cultural and institutional influences on HR practices across different regions. Finally, the Management Analytics module introduces students to the tools, concepts, and machine learning techniques necessary for overseeing management-related projects and applying data analytics in management research. These modules collectively prepare students for leadership roles in multinational and global business environments, with a strong emphasis on strategic thinking, cultural awareness, and the use of data in decision making.
