COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Accounting BSc program is structured over three years to develop strong technical knowledge, practical expertise, and digital capability in accounting and finance. In the first year, students build a solid foundation through core modules in financial and management accounting, accounting information systems, financial data analysis, and the financial business environment, alongside an introduction to corporate responsibility and ethics. The second year focuses on applied learning, with compulsory modules in applied financial accounting, applied management accounting, and financial project management, enabling students to use accounting techniques in real business contexts. Optional modules allow students to broaden their understanding of personal financial behaviour or securities and derivatives. In the final year, students engage with advanced concepts through accounting theory, ethics and sustainability, and artificial intelligence and data analytics, reflecting the growing importance of digital transformation in accounting. Students also choose optional modules such as applied trading and fintech, business start-up, taxation, or a work internship to tailor their studies to career goals. In addition, students must complete either corporate finance or business finance, ensuring strong financial decision-making skills. This structured pathway prepares graduates for professional accounting roles or further study.
