COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management (Finance) BA program is structured to combine strong management foundations with practical finance knowledge and extensive work-based learning. In the first year, students develop essential understanding of modern business through modules in data and digital technologies, financial performance management, global management, and marketing theory and practice. A major component of the first year is Work Experience 1, which provides substantial practical exposure and helps students apply academic learning in real organisational settings. The second year builds analytical and financial capability through compulsory modules in innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability, management accounting and financial reporting, management analytics and visualisation, and operations and supply chain management. In the final year, students strengthen strategic and leadership skills through compulsory study in business finance, business strategy, and organisational psychology and leadership. Optional modules allow students to tailor their learning through applied projects, consultancy work, business start-up activities, or a work internship, depending on career goals. This structured progression ensures students gain a balanced mix of academic knowledge, practical experience, and professional skills, preparing them for careers in business management, finance, consultancy, or entrepreneurship in a competitive global environment.
