COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA Accounting and Finance program is structured across three years to progressively build strong theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and professional competence. In the first year, students develop a solid foundation in core accounting and business principles through modules such as financial accounting, management accounting, accounting information systems, financial data analysis, and the financial business environment, alongside an introduction to corporate responsibility and ethics. The second year deepens technical expertise with advanced or applied financial and management accounting and business law, while also offering optional modules that allow students to explore areas such as financial project management, personal financial behaviour, operations and supply chain management, or financial mathematics. In the final year, students focus on higher-level analysis and professional application through modules including accounting theory, corporate finance, ethics and sustainability, and taxation. Optional choices in the final year enable further specialisation in areas such as artificial intelligence and data analytics, audit and assurance, corporate accountability, business start-up, or a work internship. This structured approach ensures students gain both academic depth and practical experience, preparing them for professional accounting roles or further study in finance and related fields.
