COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Project Management offers a structured curriculum that equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage projects effectively in a variety of organisational contexts. In Semester 1, students develop a strong foundation through compulsory modules including Behavioural Project Management, which explores the human and organisational dynamics of project delivery, and Fundamentals of Project Management, which introduces core principles and methodologies. Applied Systems Thinking encourages a holistic understanding of complex projects, while People, Organisation and Leadership focuses on developing leadership and interpersonal skills essential for managing teams and stakeholders. In Semester 2, students advance their learning with modules such as Project Governance, Risks and Stakeholder Engagement, which examines accountability, risk management, and effective stakeholder communication, and Contemporary Supply Chain Management Topics, which addresses the strategic and operational aspects of managing project-related supply chains. Strategic Management of Project-based Organisations explores the integration of projects within organisational strategy, ensuring students can align project outcomes with broader business objectives. To tailor their studies, students may also choose optional modules such as International Business Negotiations or Social Enterprise and Inclusive Entrepreneurship, allowing them to specialise in areas relevant to their career goals. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing graduates for successful careers in project, program, and portfolio management across diverse industries.
