COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Management and Artificial Intelligence combines technical knowledge with management expertise to prepare students for leadership in a technology-driven business environment. In Semester 1, students build foundational skills through compulsory modules such as Programming Fundamentals and Principles of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, which provide an introduction to coding, data analysis, and AI techniques. Alongside these, Innovation Management explores how organisations can drive growth through creativity and technology, while Grand Challenges encourages students to consider complex global issues and the role of AI in addressing them. In Semester 2, the focus shifts to applying this knowledge in broader contexts. Research Methods develops the skills needed for academic inquiry and evidence-based decision-making, while Artificial Intelligence and Society: Learning to Live with Machines critically examines the social, ethical, and cultural implications of AI. Students also undertake a substantial Dissertation worth 60 credits, allowing them to pursue independent research on a relevant topic. To tailor their studies, students can choose optional modules such as Accounting and Financial Management, New Venture Creation, or Work, Employment Relations, and Society, as well as Information Systems, Collaborative Project, Corporate Governance, or Managing Sustainability. This structure ensures a well-rounded education in both AI and management.
