COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc International Business program is structured to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of global business practices, management skills, and strategic decision-making in international contexts. In the first semester, compulsory modules include International and Cross-Cultural Management, International Business Environment, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Responsible Global Business Practices, and Personal Development for Employability. These courses develop foundational knowledge in managing diverse teams, understanding global markets, fostering innovation, and promoting responsible business practices, while also supporting students’ career readiness. In the second semester, students continue with Personal Development for Employability and core modules such as Strategy Analysis and International Business Negotiations, which focus on advanced strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and practical applications of business theory in complex international scenarios. Additionally, students choose two optional modules from a range including Information Systems and Management, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing, Social Enterprise and Inclusive Entrepreneurship, Corporate Finance for Non-Specialists, and Global Marketing. This flexibility allows students to tailor their studies to specific interests or career aspirations, developing expertise in areas such as entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, or social enterprise. The combination of core and elective modules equips graduates with the knowledge, skills, and global perspective needed to operate effectively in international business environments, pursue leadership roles, and contribute responsibly to organisational and societal goals.
