COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Advanced Physics program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise across a range of cutting-edge physics disciplines. In the first semester, students can select from optional modules including Materials Modelling, Physics of Complex Systems, Foundations in Quantum Engineering, Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine, and Emergent Phenomena in Condensed Matter, allowing them to tailor their learning to specific interests and research goals. These modules provide a strong foundation in contemporary topics, from understanding complex systems and quantum technologies to exploring novel materials and medical physics applications. In the second semester, compulsory modules such as Applications of Quantum Engineering, Advanced Photonics, Stochastic Processes in Interdisciplinary Science, and Research Project Planning and Preparation focus on advanced skills and the practical application of physics principles. Students develop competencies in experimental and computational methods, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary approaches, preparing them for original research and professional work in physics.
