COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Management offers a carefully structured program combining technical expertise, practical skills, and professional development to prepare graduates for careers in modern manufacturing industries. In the first semester, students engage with modules in innovation and entrepreneurship, manufacturing processes and automation, digital and data engineering, and core professional skills, providing a solid foundation in both engineering principles and employability competencies. The semester also includes the MSc Individual Project, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical, real-world challenges, with optional modules such as robotics control and automation or biomanufacturing to further specialise their skills. In the second semester, the program continues to integrate professional development with project management for engineers, while students progress on their individual research projects. Optional modules enable students to tailor their learning to areas such as sustainable product design, product design and human factors, engineering for sustainable development, or machine learning applications for engineers. By blending advanced technical training, project-based learning, and exposure to emerging technologies, the course equips graduates with the critical thinking, analytical skills, and practical experience needed to succeed as engineers, managers, or innovators in manufacturing and related industries. The program ensures that students are ready to meet the evolving demands of global manufacturing markets and make meaningful contributions to technological and operational advancements.
