COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Economics and Management degree provides a comprehensive understanding of both economics and management, equipping students with the knowledge and skills required for a wide range of careers in business, consultancy, and economic analysis. In the first year, students develop a solid foundation in macroeconomics, microeconomics, quantitative economics, accounting, marketing, and data analysis, while also exploring ethical and professional skills. In the second year, the program deepens understanding of intermediate economic theory, sustainable economic development, and policy, while offering optional modules such as financial economics, international economic relations, operations and supply chain management, and business analytics. Core management skills are enhanced through modules in accounting for managers, human resource management, and strategic business practices. The final year focuses on advanced topics in economics and management, including global strategic management, entrepreneurship and innovation, financial economics, behavioural economics, corporate governance, managerial economics, and research and communication skills. Students may also select from a wide range of optional modules covering international finance, marketing, digital technology, industrial economics, and project management, allowing them to tailor their studies to their interests and career ambitions. Graduates leave with a versatile skillset that combines analytical, strategic, and managerial capabilities, enabling them to address complex economic and business challenges in a dynamic global environment.
