COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Business and Computing degree provides a comprehensive education that integrates core business principles with advanced computing skills. In the first year, students build a solid foundation in quantitative business skills, finance, accounting, organisational behaviour, human resource management, programming, operating systems, networks, software engineering, and introductory artificial intelligence. This blend of business and computing fundamentals equips students with analytical, technical, and professional competencies. The second year develops these skills further through professional training preparation, team programming projects, and advanced modules in marketing, organisation studies, management science, digital marketing, corporate social responsibility, web systems, and software engineering practices. Students gain experience in applying both business and computing knowledge to solve practical problems and work effectively in teams. In the final year, the course culminates in optional computing or IT projects, alongside compulsory modules in strategic management and leadership theory. A range of optional modules allows students to specialise according to their interests, covering areas such as enterprise resource planning, cloud computing, cybersecurity, human-computer interaction, data analysis, project management, and digital forensics.
