COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence degree provides students with a comprehensive foundation in computing and specialised knowledge in AI, preparing them for careers in software development, AI research, and emerging technology sectors. In the first year, students build essential skills in programming, databases, computer systems, operating systems, networks, security, algorithms, object-oriented programming, software engineering, logic, and mathematics for computer science, establishing a strong technical base. The second year focuses on more advanced topics, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, computer graphics, mobile application development, web systems security, software engineering principles, formal languages, theory of computation, and team-based projects, alongside professional preparation for industry. In the final year, students engage in an AI Project, robotics, advanced AI systems, computer vision, and agent-based systems, integrating their knowledge in applied and research-focused contexts. Optional modules allow students to expand expertise in areas such as cloud computing, algorithm analysis, human-computer interaction, cybersecurity, data mining, computer animation, project management, entrepreneurship, and digital forensics. Throughout the program, students develop both theoretical understanding and practical skills, enabling them to design, implement, and evaluate intelligent systems. By completing this degree, graduates are equipped with the technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities required to contribute to innovation and meet the growing demands of the AI and computing industries globally.
