COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Psychology program provides an in-depth exploration of human behaviour and mental processes, equipping students with a broad and integrated understanding of the field. Core modules cover key areas such as emotion and human behaviour, perception, attention, and memory, social behaviour, and thinking, intelligence, and communication. These modules examine psychological concepts from multiple perspectives, enabling students to understand how cognitive, emotional, and social processes interact to shape human experience. Alongside theoretical knowledge, students develop strong research skills through modules in psychological research methods, learning to design, conduct, and analyse experiments using rigorous scientific approaches. The program culminates in a Masters Empirical Research Project, allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills to an original investigation, demonstrating competence in data collection, statistical analysis, and evidence-based interpretation. This hands-on research experience not only strengthens analytical and critical thinking abilities but also prepares graduates for further study, professional training, or careers requiring a deep understanding of human behaviour and cognition.
