The LLM Legal Practice at LSBU offers a comprehensive program that combines academic study with practical and professional development, equipping students for a career in law and preparing them for the Solicitors Qualification Examination (SQE). The course includes modules such as The Legal Advice Clinic, where students gain hands-on experience providing legal guidance under supervision, fostering practical skills and client interaction. Reflective Legal Practice encourages students to critically evaluate their own performance and professional development, while Legal Skills Development focuses on building essential competencies required for modern legal practice. Law and Technology explores the impact of digital innovation on the legal sector, ensuring students are prepared for contemporary challenges. Legal Ethics and Justice addresses professional conduct and ethical decision-making, reinforcing the principles that underpin responsible legal practice. Advanced Legal Skills modules, both Oral and Written, provide intensive training in advocacy, negotiation, and drafting, essential for effective communication in legal contexts.
