COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance program provides a comprehensive curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing students for a successful career in the finance industry. In the first year, students build a strong foundation with modules such as Finance and the Economy, Elements of Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Management and Organisations, Data for Decision Making, and the LSBU Discovery Project, which fosters collaborative problem-solving and project management skills. In the final year, students focus on advanced areas including Contemporary Audit, Corporate Reporting, and Financial Decision Making, alongside completing an Accounting and Finance Research Project that demonstrates their ability to apply knowledge in a practical context.
