The program’s modules provide a comprehensive blend of scientific knowledge and practical training required for a career in dietetics and nutrition. Assessment of Nutritional Status focuses on evaluating individuals’ dietary needs and health conditions using clinical and analytical methods. Integrated Pathology for Dietitians develops an understanding of disease processes and their relationship with nutrition, supporting effective dietary interventions. Nutrition, Food Science and Catering explores the principles of food preparation, safety, and nutritional value. Postgraduate Clinical Dietetics 1 and 2 build advanced knowledge of therapeutic diets and clinical practice in healthcare settings. Practice Based Learning 1, 2, and 3 offer hands-on experience in professional environments, allowing students to apply their knowledge while developing essential clinical and communication skills. Public Health Practice Based Learning and Public Health and Epidemiology focus on population health, disease prevention, and the role of nutrition in improving community wellbeing. The Human Nutrition Dissertation enables students to conduct independent research, enhancing critical thinking and analytical abilities. Together, these modules ensure students gain both theoretical understanding and real-world experience, preparing them to assess, plan, and deliver effective nutritional care in clinical, community, and public health settings.
