COURSE CURRICULUM

The Robotics with Artificial Intelligence MSc includes a structured set of core and optional modules designed to develop advanced knowledge and practical skills in robotics, AI, and intelligent systems. Core modules such as Sensors, Actuators and Control focus on the fundamental components that enable robotic systems to interact with their environment through sensing and movement. Robotics Systems explores the design, integration, and operation of robotic platforms. Computer Vision develops skills in enabling machines to interpret and process visual information. Statistical Modelling and Forecasting introduces data analysis techniques used for prediction and decision-making in engineering systems. Artificial Intelligence provides a foundation in intelligent algorithms and computational problem-solving. Optional modules allow students to specialise in areas such as Discrete Mathematical Structures, Semantic Technologies, Information Security, Machine Learning, and Operations and Technology Management, enabling tailored learning based on career interests. The MSc Project, a major core component, allows students to undertake an extensive independent research or development project, applying their knowledge to a complex real-world problem. Together, these modules provide a balanced combination of theory, practical application, and research experience. The program equips graduates with strong analytical, programming, and engineering skills, preparing them for advanced careers in robotics, artificial intelligence, automation, and intelligent systems development across global technology industries.
