Advanced Immunology builds a deep understanding of the immune system and its role in identifying and combating disease. Cancer Immunotherapy focuses on innovative treatments that harness the immune system to target and destroy cancer cells, reflecting one of the most rapidly developing areas in oncology. Cancer: Diagnosis and Therapy explores traditional and modern approaches to detecting and treating cancer, including clinical techniques and treatment strategies. Molecular Oncology examines cancer at the molecular and cellular level, helping students understand the genetic and biochemical mechanisms that drive tumour development and progression. Fundamentals of Medical Genetics and Genomics introduces key concepts in genetics, enabling students to understand inherited and acquired mutations linked to cancer. Scientific Frameworks for Research equips students with essential skills in research design, data analysis, and critical evaluation of scientific literature. The Research Project allows students to apply their knowledge independently, conducting in-depth investigation into a specialised topic. Together, these modules provide a strong foundation in cancer science, preparing graduates for careers in research, clinical practice, and the pharmaceutical industry.
