The program’s modules provide a comprehensive and advanced understanding of biomedical science, combining theoretical knowledge with practical laboratory and research skills. Advanced Immunology and Cancer Immunotherapy explore the immune system and its role in disease treatment, particularly in developing targeted therapies. Biomedical Diagnostics and Clinical Biochemistry focus on the analysis of biological samples and the use of laboratory techniques to diagnose and monitor diseases. Integrated Pathology provides a broad understanding of disease mechanisms by examining how different body systems are affected. Haematology and Transfusion Science cover blood-related disorders, their diagnosis, and the safe use of blood products in clinical settings. Fundamentals of Medical Genetics and Genomics, along with Medical Genetics and Genomics, introduce the principles of genetic variation, inheritance, and modern genomic technologies used in healthcare. Scientific Frameworks for Research equips students with the skills needed to design, conduct, and evaluate scientific studies. The Research Project allows students to apply their learning independently, developing critical thinking and investigative abilities through in-depth study. Together, these modules ensure students gain a strong foundation in biomedical science, preparing them for careers in clinical laboratories, research institutions, and the wider healthcare sector.
