COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is structured across two years to develop advanced architectural knowledge, design expertise, and research skills. In the first year, Advocacy: Practice Beyond Aesthetics encourages students to explore the broader social, cultural, and ethical responsibilities of architecture beyond visual design. Applied Technology in Architecture focuses on integrating technical knowledge, materials, and construction methods into creative design solutions. Critical Thinking: Research Methods equips students with the ability to conduct rigorous research, analyze complex ideas, and support their design decisions with strong theoretical foundations. Design Project: Context, Process and Proposal allows students to develop comprehensive design work by responding to specific contexts and refining their creative processes. In the second year, the focus shifts toward independent and specialized study. Advanced Study: Thesis supports in-depth research into a chosen architectural topic, encouraging critical exploration and originality. The Design Thesis Project enables students to develop a major design proposal, demonstrating their ability to integrate creativity, technical knowledge, and research into a resolved architectural solution. Integrated Project Study further strengthens the connection between design, theory, and practice. Together, these modules ensure students graduate with a high level of professional competence and a strong, individual architectural voice.
