Interior Contexts examines how interior spaces are shaped by cultural, social, historical, and environmental factors, helping students understand the broader influences on spatial design. Project as Professional Practice: Interior Design connects academic learning with real-world industry practice, enabling students to understand professional standards, expectations, and working methods in the interior design sector. Research Methods: Success in Design develops essential skills in research planning, methodology, and critical analysis, allowing students to support their design decisions with strong evidence and structured inquiry. Design for Change encourages students to use design as a tool for innovation and positive social and environmental impact, addressing contemporary challenges through creative solutions. Material Culture explores the relationship between people and objects within interior environments, focusing on how materials, artefacts, and designed spaces reflect meaning, identity, and use. Together, these modules provide a balanced integration of theory, research, and practice, enabling students to develop advanced design thinking and professional capability in interior design.
