COURSE CURRICULUM

Project as Professional Practice: Environmental, Sustainable and Regeneration Design connects academic learning with real-world professional contexts, preparing students to apply sustainable design principles in industry settings. Research Methods: Success in Design develops essential skills in research planning, data collection, and analysis, enabling students to support their design work with strong evidence and critical thinking. Charismatic Objects investigates how certain designed objects gain emotional, cultural, or symbolic significance, influencing user experience and perception. Design for Change encourages students to use design as a tool for addressing social and environmental challenges, promoting innovation and positive impact in communities and systems. Together, these modules combine theoretical understanding with practical application, helping students develop advanced design thinking, research capability, and professional awareness.
