COURSE CURRICULUM

The LLB Law (Hons) program is structured over three years and provides a comprehensive legal education that combines core subjects with a wide range of optional modules. In Year 1, students build a strong foundation in key areas of law through modules such as Administrative Law, Constitutional Law, Contract I, Criminal Law I, English Legal System, Land Law I, Law of Tort I, and Legal Method, which introduce fundamental legal principles and analytical skills. In Year 2, students deepen their understanding with advanced modules including Contract Law II, Criminal Law II, Land Law II, Law of Equity and Trusts I, Law of Tort II, and Law of the European Union I, alongside optional subjects such as Employment Law, Consumer Rights Law, Medical Law, and Law of Advocacy and Mooting, which develop practical and research abilities. In Year 3, the program focuses on specialisation and independent study through modules such as Civil Law and Practice, Criminal Litigation, Law of Equity and Trusts II, and Law of the European Union II, as well as a dissertation or research essay. Students can also choose from a broad range of optional subjects including Human Rights, Company Law, Environmental Law, and Public International Law. Overall, the course develops strong legal knowledge, critical thinking, and professional skills for diverse legal careers.
