COURSE CURRICULUM

International Business Management (including foundation year) BSc (Hons) is a structured four-year program designed to develop students’ knowledge and skills for careers in global business. The course begins with a foundation year that prepares students for degree-level study by building essential academic, analytical, and communication skills while introducing key ideas in business, management, and social sciences. In Year 1, students study core business disciplines including Business Law and Ethics, Data Analysis for Business Decision Making, Digital Business Management and Emerging Technology, Financial Accounting, Learning through Organisation, People, Management and Organisations, Principles of Marketing, and Understanding the Business and Economic Environment, providing a strong foundation in how organisations operate. In Year 2, students develop more advanced and applied knowledge through modules such as Global Business and Strategy, International Selling and Negotiation, Leadership in Practice, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Digital Marketing, Research Methods, and Sustainability, Business and Responsibility, alongside practical experiences like consultancy and community-focused projects. In Year 3, the focus shifts to strategic, analytical, and professional practice with modules including Global Business Strategy and Practice, Organising and Managing Across Cultures, Consultancy Project, Dissertation, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in Business, and opportunities for professional placement.
