COURSE CURRICULUM

International Business Management BSc (Hons) is structured over three years and designed to develop students into globally aware business professionals with strong leadership, analytical, and strategic skills. In Year 1, students build a foundation in core business disciplines through modules such as Digital Business Management and Emerging Technology, Financial Accounting, Learning Through Organisations, Managing People in Organisations, Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Understanding and Managing Data, and Understanding the Business and Economic Environment, which introduce key concepts of how organisations operate. In Year 2, learning becomes more applied and international in focus, with modules including International Business, International Selling and Negotiation, Leadership in Practice, Organisation Design and Management, The Practice of Consultancy, Developing Inclusive Organisations, Risk and Crisis Management, Sustainability, Business and Responsibility, and opportunities for language study alongside regional political modules. Students also engage in experiential learning through field trips and work-based practice. In Year 3, the program focuses on advanced strategic thinking and professional readiness through modules such as Leading Innovation, Organising and Managing Across Cultures, The Practice of International Business, Global Marketing and Sales in the Digital Age, International Banking, International Trade and Finance, Consultancy Project, Dissertation, and Practising Business Strategy simulations, alongside continued language study. Overall, the course builds global business expertise, practical experience, and cross-cultural competence for international careers.
