COURSE CURRICULUM

The Airline, Airport and Aviation Management BSc (Hons) program is structured over three years to develop a comprehensive understanding of aviation operations, business strategy, and industry practices. In the first year, students build a strong foundation by studying key aspects of aviation such as air cargo operations, airport management, airline operations, and the aviation system, alongside core business subjects including management, marketing, and data analysis. The second year focuses on more specialised and applied areas, including airline commercial planning, revenue and pricing management, aviation psychology, and safety and security. Students also develop practical and professional skills through modules in consultancy, project management, and workplace learning, while exploring broader topics such as sustainability, cultural tourism, and international negotiation. By the third year, students engage with advanced and strategic concepts such as airline and airport strategic management, airport planning and development, financial decision-making, and innovation in the aviation industry. They also study brand management and service excellence, while completing a dissertation and consultancy project to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts. Overall, the course offers a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and strategic insight, preparing graduates for careers across the aviation and wider business sectors
