COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management BA (Hons) program offers a structured and progressive curriculum across three years, designed to build strong academic knowledge alongside practical business skills. In Year 1, students develop a solid foundation in core management concepts, studying principles of management and marketing, financial accounting, digital business and emerging technologies, data analysis, people management, and the wider business and economic environment. Learning is supported through organisational case studies that link theory to practice. Year 2 focuses on applying this knowledge in more complex and professional contexts. Modules cover project management, leadership in practice, organisation design, international selling and negotiation, finance, marketing communications, law, sustainability, risk management and inclusive organisational practices. Students also gain hands-on experience through work-based learning, consultancy practice, problem-solving methods and field trips, helping them understand real business challenges. Year 3 emphasises strategic thinking, leadership and specialisation. Students explore financial decision-making, innovation, business strategy through simulations, cross-cultural management and service excellence, with options linked to creative industries, tourism, media and social marketing. The final year includes major independent work through a consultancy project and dissertation, enabling students to apply research and strategic skills to real-world business issues and preparing them for graduate-level careers across diverse sectors.
