COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management with Law BA (Hons) program is structured over three years to develop a strong combination of business and legal knowledge. In Year 1, students are introduced to core concepts through modules such as Business Law, the English Legal System, Digital Business Management, Marketing, and organisational studies, alongside understanding the wider economic environment. This provides a solid foundation in both disciplines. In Year 2, the course becomes more specialised, with modules including Company and Business Law, Consumer Rights Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution, combined with key business topics such as Leadership, Project Management, and Global Business Strategy. Students also gain practical experience through consultancy work, research methods, and work-based learning, while having the option to study a language and explore sustainability. In Year 3, students engage with advanced legal and business topics, including Competition Law, International Trade Law, Environmental Law, and the impact of artificial intelligence on business and legal practices. They also study strategy and management while completing a dissertation or consultancy project to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts. Opportunities for professional placement further enhance employability, preparing graduates for careers in both business and legal fields.
