COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management and Marketing BA (Hons) program is structured over three years to develop a strong understanding of both business operations and marketing strategies. In Year 1, students build a solid foundation by studying core subjects such as Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Digital Business, and Data Management, alongside learning how organisations function and operate within the wider economic environment. They also explore the fundamentals of marketing practice and managing people in organisations. In Year 2, the course becomes more specialised, with modules including Consumer Insights, Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications, and International Selling and Negotiation. Students also gain practical experience through consultancy work and work-based learning, while exploring areas such as sustainability, inclusive organisations, and media relations. In the final year, students focus on advanced topics such as Strategic Marketing, Global Marketing and Sales, Brand Management, and Artificial Intelligence in Business. They also study innovation and business strategy while completing a consultancy project that allows them to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges. Overall, the course equips students with a balanced mix of management and marketing skills, preparing them for a wide range of careers in the business and marketing sectors.
