COURSE CURRICULUM

The Positive Psychology and Wellbeing MSc at Liverpool John Moores University provides students with a comprehensive understanding of human strengths, virtues, and skills that underpin happiness, wellbeing, and a meaningful life. The core curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, offering modules such as Concepts in Positive Psychology, Research Skills for Positive Psychology, and Analysis for Positive Psychology to develop a strong foundation in research methodologies and data analysis. Students engage with practical wellbeing practices through Meditation and Mindfulness, Pathways to Wellbeing, and Promoting and Preserving Wellbeing modules, enabling them to cultivate personal resilience while learning to support wellbeing in others. The Empirical Project module offers an opportunity to conduct an in-depth research study, integrating theoretical knowledge with applied skills and allowing students to explore a specific area of interest in positive psychology.
