COURSE CURRICULUM

The LLB (Hons) Law degree at Liverpool John Moores University offers a comprehensive and practical approach to legal education, covering core principles as well as optional specialisms to prepare students for a wide range of legal careers. In the first year, students study foundational subjects including Law of Tort, Criminal Law, Contract Law, Constitutional Law, and professional development, establishing a strong base in both theory and practice. Opportunities for a study year abroad or a sandwich year further enhance practical experience and global perspectives. In the final year, students can tailor their studies with a diverse range of optional modules, including Company Law, Medical Law and Ethics, Intellectual Property, Family and Child Law, Media Law, and Law and Artificial Intelligence, while completing a dissertation or Legal Practice and Service module to consolidate research and applied skills.
