The BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science degree at Liverpool John Moores University is delivered by leading experts using state-of-the-art facilities in the award-winning Tom Reilly Building. The program equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for careers in sports and exercise science, working with athletes, coaches, governing bodies, or communities to improve performance, rehabilitation, training, and health promotion. The first two years provide a multidisciplinary foundation in behavioural, physical, and life sciences, aligning with recommendations from the Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences. This ensures students develop a strong understanding of the scientific principles underpinning sport and exercise. In the final year, students specialise in their chosen discipline and undertake an independent research project, allowing them to apply their learning in practical, real-world contexts.
