COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Software Engineering degree at Liverpool John Moores University offers a comprehensive curriculum that combines theoretical foundations with practical, hands-on experience to prepare students for careers in the software industry. In the first year, students gain essential skills in programming, computer systems architecture, software engineering principles, web development, data modelling, and professional practice, along with exposure to collaborative software workshops. Students have the option to enhance their employability and real-world experience through a sandwich placement year or a study year abroad.
