COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Financial Technology (FinTech) program provides students with an in-depth understanding of the technologies and innovations driving change in the financial services sector. Core modules include Financial Technology and Digital Banking, which explores how digital platforms and tools are transforming banking operations and customer experiences, and Emerging Technologies in Finance, focusing on the role of innovations such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and big data in reshaping financial services. Entrepreneurship, Regulations and Risk Management introduces students to the opportunities and challenges of developing FinTech solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and managing associated risks effectively. Research Methods and Analytics equips students with the tools to conduct rigorous academic and industry-focused research, ensuring they can analyse financial data and evaluate the impact of technology on finance. The program culminates in the Masters Research Project, where students apply their learning to an independent, in-depth study on a specialist area of FinTech. By integrating technical knowledge, regulatory awareness, and entrepreneurial skills, the degree prepares graduates for leadership roles in the rapidly evolving financial sector, enabling them to develop innovative solutions and contribute to shaping the future of digital finance globally.
