COURSE CURRICULUM

The LLM Law program offers a comprehensive foundation in core areas of legal study, designed to prepare students for professional legal practice or related careers. Through the Legal Foundations module, students gain an essential grounding in the structure and principles of law, setting the basis for more advanced learning. Company Law and Practice and Contract Law and Disputes focus on the legal frameworks that govern business operations and contractual relationships, while Public Law and the Law of the European Union provide insight into constitutional principles, governance, and supranational legal systems. The study of Torts, Land Law and Property, and Equity and Trusts equips students with an understanding of the key areas that underpin civil law, property ownership, and equitable remedies, all of which are central to legal practice. Criminal Law and Practice explores criminal liability, procedure, and the application of justice within the criminal system, further broadening legal expertise. Alongside these taught modules, students undertake a Dissertation, allowing them to conduct in-depth research in a specific legal area of interest, developing independent research skills and critical legal analysis. Altogether, the program ensures graduates leave with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for pursuing careers in law and related fields.
