COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum includes core modules such as Anatomy and Physiology, Biomechanics, Sport Psychology, Nutrition for Sport and Exercise, Research Methods, and Exercise Physiology. In year one, students build foundational knowledge in human biology and movement sciences. Year two advances to applied topics like performance analysis and health promotion. The final year features advanced modules including dissertation research, strength and conditioning, and clinical exercise physiology. Optional modules may cover topics like sports injury management or coaching pedagogy. Practical components involve lab sessions, fitness testing, and group projects. Assessment methods include exams, essays, presentations, and practical demonstrations. The program integrates work placements for hands-on experience.
