The Epidemiology & Sports Trauma Management module introduces students to trauma response protocols currently used by healthcare professionals in athletic settings, providing vital emergency care training. In Neuromuscular Biomechanics, students delve into the structure and mechanical functions of muscles and joints, evaluating how intrinsic and extrinsic loading factors contribute to injury. This knowledge supports injury prevention and optimises biomechanical efficiency. Evidence-Based Practice in Sports Physiology encourages the critical appraisal of emerging exercise testing and prescription methods, with a strong emphasis on technological innovation to improve elite athlete performance. The Sports Injury Management & Rehabilitation module combines theoretical and practical approaches, guiding students in creating targeted rehabilitation strategies. It also enables critical evaluation of conservative and surgical treatment methods, with attention to evidence-based protocols tailored to athletic populations.The Clinical Decision Making in Sport module sharpens students' diagnostic and reasoning skills, helping them manage complex clinical scenarios involving musculoskeletal injuries and pathophysiology.
