One of the core modules, Work & Working Lives in Dynamic Business Contexts, examines the evolving business environment and the interactions between various stakeholders. It covers issues like ethics, sustainability, employee well-being, equality, diversity, and inclusion, and explores their impact on working lives. The module also delves into how organizations adapt to dynamic contexts, with a focus on realignment, change management, and productivity. Strategic People Management & Development focuses on the importance of evidence-based HR practices and their role in achieving organizational objectives while enhancing employee experience. It looks at how HR professionals create value through integrated strategies that drive both business outcomes and employee satisfaction. The Skills for Ethical & Agile People Practice module encourages students to develop ethical, evidence-based practices, emphasizing the need for continuous professional development (CPD) and reflective practice. This module aligns with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) standards, ensuring HR practitioners operate with principles and commercially focused behaviors. Leadership, Governance & People Management Dissertation Project provides an opportunity for students to conduct independent research in a topic of personal interest. Learning & Development for Sustainable Organisations explores the role of learning and development in promoting sustainability within organizations, analyzing contemporary and traditional learning theories. Finally, Leading Organisational Design & Development examines the leader’s role in achieving strategic goals through organizational design and development, preparing students to tackle challenges in diverse organizational contexts through effective leadership and management practices.
