Key themes include ethics, sustainability, employee well-being, inclusion, and organisational change.In Strategic People Management & Development, you'll explore how HR professionals can deliver value through evidence-based and outcomes-driven strategies aligned with business goals. You'll also develop practical insight into building coherent policies that enhance both performance and employee experience.Skills for Ethical & Agile People Practice focuses on professional development, helping you build reflective, ethical, and inclusive behaviours based on CIPD’s core values. You'll learn how to adapt and respond to continuous change through self-assessment, CPD, and effective decision-making.Strategic Employment Relations takes a broader look at how labour laws, unions, and institutional frameworks shape employment relations nationally and internationally. You’ll assess workplace cooperation and conflict, and how legal principles support fair and compliant people practices.Resourcing, Rewarding & Sustaining Talent addresses how to attract, retain, and develop employees through strategic workforce planning and reward systems. You'll evaluate talent management practices that contribute to long-term organisational success.Your learning will culminate in the Leadership, Governance & People Management Dissertation Project, where you will conduct in-depth research on a people-focused topic of your choice. This project provides an opportunity to critically engage with theory and practice, developing specialist expertise in a chosen area of HR or organisational leadership.
