COURSE CURRICULUM

This master's program focuses on preparing students for leadership roles in construction and project management through a strong emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation. The technological innovations module explores the impact of digital tools and smart functionalities on the construction industry, with particular attention to integrated management processes that support responsible and sustainable project delivery.In managing projects for innovation, students develop a deep understanding of how to lead teams and manage innovation at both the project and corporate levels. The module emphasises practical strategies for fostering creativity and ensuring the successful implementation of innovative practices.Commercial and financial management introduces students to a range of tools, techniques, and theories used in senior management roles. This includes strategic financial planning and directing corporate policies related to property and construction services, enabling informed decision-making and resource allocation.The BIM and smart procurement module focuses on Building Information Modelling and contemporary procurement approaches. Students learn how these systems can improve efficiency, transparency, and collaboration in project delivery, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.The program culminates in a master's dissertation, where students undertake an independent research project. This provides the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the course to a specific area of interest, developing both academic and practical competencies in research, analysis, and presentation.
