COURSE CURRICULUM

The program focuses on developing a deep understanding of accounting, finance, and corporate governance. In the Corporate Reporting module, students are introduced to key financial accounting concepts and techniques, with an emphasis on analyzing financial statements. This module helps students take more responsibility for their own learning, fostering independent study. Management Accounting Information Management focuses on applying and evaluating complex management accounting techniques, enabling students to make informed judgments regarding the value of different methods in decision-making processes. Corporate Finance explores modern finance theories and their applications in both national and multinational contexts, covering investment, financing, and dividend policies. Students learn how to constructively engage with the theories, tools, and techniques in real-world scenarios. Corporate Governance, Risk & Ethics provides insights into the role of governance in businesses, the importance of IT in forensic accounting, and fraud detection. It also covers various types of fraud and how to manage risk and ethical considerations. Finally, Critical Perspectives in Accounting & Finance challenges students to critically evaluate contemporary accounting issues in various social, environmental, and political contexts. Students will apply their knowledge to solve problems with evidence-based solutions, including exploring the development of behavioral finance as an alternative to traditional finance theories. Overall, this program equips students with the skills needed to navigate complex financial landscapes and prepare for leadership roles in accounting and finance.
