Practical application begins immediately, with the non-credit Mental Health Practice Assessments 1 module, allowing you to meet early NMC proficiencies through real-world experience. In your second year, Developing Professional Skills builds your academic and ethical competencies, focusing on evidence-based practice, legal frameworks, and professional support roles. Application of Nursing Science & Practice enhances your clinical confidence as you begin practising with more independence. Promoting Health & Wellbeing focuses on patient partnership, health education, and prevention, teaching you to communicate effectively and tailor care to social contexts. Mental Health Practice Assessments 2 provides further clinical learning opportunities in real healthcare settings. In your final year, you’ll consolidate and advance your practical and theoretical knowledge. Advancing Nursing Science & Practice supports confident, independent practice in increasingly complex situations. Population Health & Wellbeing introduces long-term care planning and public health, teaching you to analyse data and address healthcare challenges through evidence-based strategies.
