In Digital Business, you'll learn about the latest technologies shaping sport organisations, particularly digital marketing. Principles of Sport Management provides a comprehensive overview of how sport organisations operate, with an emphasis on leadership, financial management, and marketing. The module Sport Finance develops your financial literacy, enabling you to interpret financial statements in a sports context.Year 2 delves deeper into applied knowledge. Sport Economics applies economic principles to sport, analyzing issues like athlete salaries and the impact of mega events. Leading & Managing People in Sports explores human resource management and leadership theories in sports organisations. Research in Practice enhances your ability to conduct research that informs business decisions, while Strategic Management of Sport Business teaches environmental analysis and strategic planning in the sports industry. Sport Governance examines governance issues, including corruption and anti-doping, and The Global Sport Business Environment helps you understand the globalisation of sport and how to navigate international business challenges.In the Final Year, you’ll undertake a Project in Sport Management, where you'll conduct an independent research project, either through a dissertation or consultancy work. Finally, Sport Business Analytics will teach you to use data to make informed decisions and improve efficiency in sport organisations.
