Accounting and Finance for Managers provides an introduction to financial statements, investment evaluation, and how managers use financial data. Data Decisions and Understanding AI looks at data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and how businesses use digital tools to inform decisions. Managing Organisations and People focuses on motivation, leadership, and team dynamics in a global context.In year 2, students begin applying knowledge to more complex problems. Managerial Decision Making explores how managers make decisions, considering factors like ethics, negotiation, and group dynamics. Future Focused Management for Sustainability encourages students to think about long-term impacts, ethical management, and sustainability in business. Business Finance introduces internal and external financing decisions and the role of financial management in business growth. Developing Professional and Employability Skills focuses on preparing students for the job market by developing their personal brand and self-awareness. Operations and Supply Chain Management looks at how businesses manage their logistics, processes, and supply chains to gain competitive advantage. Managing a Small and Sustainable Business involves planning and pitching a sustainable business concept with the goal of raising funding.In the final year, the focus shifts to strategy, leadership, and real-world application. The Consultancy Project gives students the chance to work with a real client, using academic knowledge to solve a business problem. Business Strategy provides a comprehensive look at how organisations plan, compete, and innovate in changing environments. Strategic HRM for Leaders examines how leadership and HR practices affect people and performance in dynamic organisations. Students choose between Governance, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility, where they analyse ethical business practices, or a full-year Work Placement to gain hands-on experience. The degree finishes with Leading Innovation and Change, where students learn how to drive transformation and respond to the challenges of innovation and competition.
