COURSE CURRICULUM

The core modules of the MSc Psychology and Behavioural Analytics provide a comprehensive foundation in both psychological theory and advanced data analysis. Analysing Talk and Text explores qualitative and linguistic approaches to interpreting human communication, enabling students to understand meaning, attitudes and social interaction through interview transcripts, conversations and digital communication. Digital Data Applications focuses on practical methods for working with large-scale digital datasets and applying analytical tools across real-world digital environments. Programming for Health Data Science develops essential coding skills used in applied behavioural and health research, supporting the development of efficient data processing and analysis pipelines. Psychological Perspectives and Digital Behavioural Data examines how psychological principles explain human activity within digital environments, providing insight into motivations and behaviour patterns. Understanding Humans Through Data integrates quantitative and qualitative approaches to give students a holistic view of behavioural analysis.
