COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum includes core modules such as: Fundamentals of Clinical Research I and II, covering research design, ethics, and governance; Quantitative Research Methods, focusing on statistics and data analysis; Qualitative Research Methods, exploring interviews and thematic analysis; Clinical Knowledge and Professional Practice, integrating clinical contexts; and a Dissertation module involving an independent research project. Optional modules may include Systematic Reviews, Health Economics, or Advanced Statistics. The program totals 180 credits, with taught components in the first two terms and the dissertation in the third. Part-time students spread modules over two years. Assessment methods include essays, presentations, exams, and the dissertation. The curriculum is designed to meet UK clinical research standards and is accredited by relevant bodies.
