COURSE CURRICULUM

Year 1: Understanding Psychology (core concepts in cognitive, social, developmental, and biological psychology); Investigating Psychology (research methods, statistics, and data analysis). Year 2: Cognitive Psychology (perception, memory, language); Developmental Psychology (child and lifespan development); Social Psychology (group behavior, attitudes); Biological Psychology (brain and behavior); Research Methods (experimental design, ethics). Year 3: Project (independent research dissertation); Optional modules such as Brain and Behaviour, The Lying Brain, Psychology of Art, Forensic and Investigative Psychology, Clinical Psychology. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning with practical sessions, group projects, and use of specialist facilities like eye-trackers and EEG equipment. Assessment includes exams, essays, presentations, and lab reports. The course integrates quantitative and qualitative methods, ensuring a balanced skill set.
