COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Marketing and Design program is structured to build skills progressively across three years, combining creative design practice with strategic marketing knowledge. In the first year, students develop a foundation in key principles through modules such as Marketing Fundamentals, Consumers and Communications, and Visual Communication, while beginning to explore practical design projects through Design Sprints and The Reflective Design Process. Professional Development for Marketing and Design supports students in building confidence and industry awareness. In the second year, learning advances into specialised themes including Digital Marketing and Analytics, Design Visualisation, Insight-led Design and Design for Sustainability, helping students apply research and strategic insight to real-world creative challenges. Students can also tailor their learning through optional modules such as Consumer Behaviour, Global Markets and Responsibility, or Study Abroad opportunities. In the final year, students focus on industry-oriented practice with core modules such as Brand Strategy, Design Consultancy and Design Leadership, enabling them to develop strong professional portfolios and leadership skills. A range of optional modules, including Influencer Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Contemporary Issues in Marketing, Advanced Consumer Behaviour and International Marketing Management, allow students to deepen expertise in areas aligned with their career aspirations.
